Academic Year Follow-up

During the 2007-2008 school year, a number of activities will take place:

• We will provide an on-line forum for fellows to ask mathematical or pedagogical questions to each other and to the Center staff. We will ask each fellow to check into the on-line forum at least three times during the academic year to follow up on activities at the home university.
   
• We will host a follow-up teleconference for fellows in the spring of 2008.
   
• We will prepare a monograph on mathematics for doctoral students in mathematics education, and all fellows are invited to participate in the preparation.
   
• There are (limited) funds to support a small number of fellows who will attend professional conferences and speak about Center activities.
   
• Center staff are available to visit universities where mathematics courses are being taught for doctoral students.
